Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club - County Winners
Update
On a demanding course at Wharton Park where fairways were running very fast, close attention to club selection and ball placement was key to getting the ball onto receptive and true greens. It was the team from Cleobury Mortimer who used the conditions to best effect to win with a 4 shot lead over Rose Hill, with one of their team taking the individual trophy with a nett score of 67.
The Brandhall gold vase is one of the biggest events within Worcestershire County. A huge well done to Dean Wilkes, Andy Simmonds, Gary Edwards, Jack Millichip and Adrian Bloomer who brought it home.
We are also delighted to say that, as winners, in 2027 CMGC will be hosting it on Thursday 22nd July! To try and defend it on home turf!
