On a breezy and mainly dry day 158 golfers contested the Balmore Open. The overall winner of the trophy, with an excellent nett score of 65, was Gordon Tennant from Dumfries & County. Overall runner up was Steven Etherson from Balmore who also scored 65 but lost out on a count back.

The best scratch score was a terrific 66 from Sammy Clingan of Balmore beating Eoin Brown (also Balmore) by 1 shot.
