Gedney's Ladies Hit the Opens.....
2 Days on the Trot
Two teams fron Gedney Hill's Ladies Section were playing in Open Am-Am competitions yesterday at Lakeside Lodge and today at Middleton Hall.
One of the teams (Kim Markillie, Lynn Exley, Jayne Cowles and Chris Bennett) came 3rd out of 22 teams at Lakeside Lodge with 97 points.
The other team (Ann Chick, Roz Upton, Jacqui Rust and Lynn Exley) came 1st out of 20 teams at Middleton Hall with 79 points. Chris Bennett also collected the prize for Nearest the Pin on the 15th hole at Middleton Hall. Pictured are the winning team at Middleton Hall along with one of the new owners of the Club.
