BUGGY / TROLLEY ROUTE
When applicable
Trolley Route for Wet Conditions
This route is designed to ensure that the course is not excessively damaged whilst allowing all members to continue to play. When this route is being used, members are asked to consider carrying their clubs as this will cause less damage.
When the route is being used neither trolleys nor buggies can be taken onto the approach or surround of any green and as is normally the case kept off all tees.
This route must be adhered to, it is described in words and a plan is provided to assist. Fairways must only be accesses on foot with trolleys being left on the rough / tree line unless the route describes a crossing point.
Avoid all roped off areas.

Route
1st and 10th – Keep to the left-hand trees all the way up to the green and go around the back of the green to access the next tee
2nd and 11th – follow the cut paths from the tee towards the green then the rough to the left of the approach to access the made-up path. (Sit on buggies only can go to the right of the green as the path is not wide enough for them.)
3rd and 12th – from the tee follow the right-hand tree line all the way to the right of the green. Follow the made-up paths to the next tee.
4th and 13th – follow the tree line to the right all the way past the winter green (do not take trolleys or buggies across the winter green, keep to its right. Park trolleys close to the tree to the right of the grass bunker.
Cross the first fairway to access the next tee.
5th and 14th – from the tee cross the rough and go right of the old shed then keep to the right-hand tree line, cross the 9th fairway then cross the 5th fairway taking the route of the public footpath. Keep to the left hand rough and left of the old bunker. Return using the same route to access the next tee.
6th and 15th – cross the 5th fairway at right angles to access the right-hand trees, follow the tree line to the end then cross the fairway along the top of the diagonal ridge then approach the green in the left hand rough avoiding any roped off areas. (Sit on buggies only can keep to the right and pass between the right-hand bunker and the wall to access the green and the next tee.)
7th and 16th – follow the path and use the road unless tee shots fail to reach the end of the wall, in this case use the gateway and keep to the wall all the way. (Sit on buggies only can return around the back of the green if they are too large to use the path.) Keep to the left hand tree line all the way up to the green passing around the back of the green to access the next tee.
8th and 17th – follow the path from the tee and then the left-hand tree line. Leave all trolleys in the rough to the left of the trees to then access the next tee.
9th and 18th – retrieve trolley and cross at right angles to the fairway then follow the right-hand trees all the way up to the green.
