At times when there is placing through the greens, no General play cards or Qualifying games can be entered for your Handicap Index.

That said, you can obviously still play at other courses where there is Placing on shortly mown, where qualifying can take place and General play cards are acceptable.

So as long as you pre register you round via you England Golf app, you can submit a General Play card.

Pre register your intent, fill out a card for that course as you're playing, get that card verified and marked, then enter your score on the England Golf app, retain your card and put your card in the comps box afterwards for validation.

Please download and use the England Golf app in order to record scores during General Play rounds. If you need any guidance on when and how to submit a General Play card, please either contact a member of the Comps committee or speak to the Pro shop.

If you are struggling with your current handicap, then you can ask for a review simply by asking the Comps committee.
