Flagsticks & Rakes
From 19 July 2021
On 19 July new England Golf Guidelines were introduced as previously advised. From that date, all golf course furniture was returned to normal use, including flagsticks, bunker rakes and ball-washers. So, please remember that the preferred lie rule in bunkers no longer applies and you should rake the sand for the benefit of other players after playing from the sand. If you wish, flagsticks MAY be removed when putting although it helps with pace of play to leave in.
