Updated A practical guide to golf under COVID19
Dec 20
A practical guide to golf at Huntercombe with COVID DEC 10th 2020.

In line with the advice from the government and golf’s governing body the EGU/RA this document should be read by the golfer, understood by the staff and will act as the guide to how we enjoy golf at Huntercombe until the gradual lifting of social restrictions.
For golfers, these measures will cover each step of the journey from home to the golf course and back home again. At the course, these measures will be in place from dusk until dawn 7 days a week.
Our guidelines and procedures remain under constant review, updated as advice from the government, health authorities and governing bodies evolves.

Tier 2 restriction – Clubhouse rules.

From the 10th December we will be the clubhouse will be open under the tier 2 restrictions.

We will be able to offer the following restricted service with a few new additions that will hopefully prove a welcome extra offering to our members.

The marquee will be turned into an outside space. Members and their guests will be able to sit outside in tables of 2 and 4.

Inside seating has been reduced, members in the same household may sit together, if not separate tables will be allocated.

We will do our best to accommodate everyone but we cannot guarantee everyone a place.

To purchase alcohol you will have to purchase a lunch (only full meals available)

Lunch will be served between 11am and 3.30pm. Table service only. Face masks must be worn inside unless seated.

From 9am 7days a week a Homemade sausage roll, bacon or egg bap will be available along with a takeaway coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

This is a takeaway only service and will be available from the clubhouse before play, while passing on the 5th or after your round.

Please pre order if you’d like your Huntercombe take away on the 5th.
We’ll be using ‘glass’ glasses which will be kept safe by the cleaning process.
Staff safety as always will be key and we will be working with designated working zones and a one-way system to avoid staff coming in close contact with each other – PPE will be provided but we are hoping to avoid the need for masks (although they are available for all staff).
We will be constantly monitoring and evolving the process but, as a start point, we are happy that you can enjoy the Clubhouse safely.
Thanks to the tee sheet, we will have a note of all members and guests who have used the Clubhouse providing us our own track and trace system should the unthinkable occur.
