Alicia Leads the way as this year's competition gets underway
The ladies ladder started today under covid changes to avoid group gatherings, so no shotgun start at the moment, registration is online and attendance as per start sheet. Please see a brief summary below and results.
Alicia Phillips beat Sue Richardson by 2 holes in today's top match as the top two qualifiers faced off in this year's opener.
Sue made the turn 2up after making birdies on holes 2,4,5 & 9, but Alicia fought back with an Eagle on the 12th when she holed her 40yard pitch, then birdie the last 3 holes to win the game.
Amanda Hilton won £16 with the only 2 on the 3rd hole.
