Gents Little Horsted Cup
Dean Plant shoots -4 , 68 to lead by two shots
Dean Plant double-bogeyed the last to shoot 68 -4 and his lowest round of the year, but it could have been so much better, standing in the middle of the fairway with 90 yards left, he should have been giving himself a putt for 65, but a miss-hit pitch cost him a double-bogey.

He birdied 4 holes on the trot to be out in 32 - 4 and added birdies on both par 5's to get to -6 before disaster struck on the 18th.

His nearest challenger is the big-hitting Mark Budd who managed 5 birdies in a round of 70 -2. Mark is attempting to win his first 36-hole event for over 8 years tomorrow as he tries to turn around a 2-shot deficit.

Tom Frost shot a remarkable 71 -1 off a 6 handicap with Billy Gray 72 & George Pepper 73 in the chasing pack.

Andy Mitchell hit a fantastic career best 64 -8 in the nett division as he leads from Tom Frost's 65, there were also great scores from Carlo Mendes 66, Billy Gray 67, Jake Humphrey 67 & Lee Denyer 68 all chasing Andy Mitchell for the trophy.

It looks like both events will have great finishes tomorrow , good luck to all. Play starts at 8.00am off 1st & 10th tees.
