Both Champions defended their trophies with Amanda Hilton winning the scratch by 1 shot from Sue Davis and Jane Saunders leaving the field in her wake as she won by 7 shots over Alicia Phillips with an outstanding round of 63.
Sue Davis required a birdie on the last to force a play-off, a drive and wedge to the 18th set up a great chance, but the putt lipped out.
The Silver Vase for the nett prize was very close at the start of the round, but Jane Saunders produced her best round ever to win comfortably.
