Covid playing Restrictions
Covid playing Restrictions
The Club have received the following advice from the Welsh Government and Wales Golf on 29th May 2020, which will come into force on the 1st June 2020.

The Welsh Government states: ‘Members of two separate households can meet outdoors at any one time as long as they stay local and maintain social distancing.

Taking this information into consideration, the following groupings are allowed when playing golf and when travel is ‘local’
Individuals playing golf on their own.
Two players from one household
Two players from different households

The club are aware that other grouping are allowed but at the current time and to keep the speed of the course we are sticking with two balls.

This decision is based on maintaining the speed of play and to allow as many players to access the course and keep playing times to a minimum.

Physical distancing guidelines and industry guidelines must be adhered to before, during, and after the round.

The Club House and Shop will be closed to members but will be staffed from 8-30-4-30 each day.

Members should continue to book online and not just turn up to play.

The practice facilities will remain closed but will be used for PGA coaching under strict rules. Members should not use any practice facilities as the PGA coaches will have to coach one to one under strict social distancing.

Congregating outside of two household groups is an offence under the new regulations.

For these reasons, we will continue to monitor developments very closely and will update our advice as required.
