Impact of Coronavirus - North Wales Golf Club
Letter from Chairman
Impact of Coronavirus - North Wales Golf Club

Dear all,

Hope you are all well. Just a note to brief you regarding North Wales Golf Club.

Clearly, we have been somewhat tied up sorting out the implications of the Club, particularly the financial situation.

At the moment we have 6 staff out of 9 on furlough. Phil is working from home and we have 2 green staff maintaining the course in order to bring it on stream when the restrictions are relaxed.

We are currently making applications for the Government grants and financial support. Our bank is also giving financial support. We realise that this is a very difficult time for everyone, but your continuing membership is critical to the Club. Therefore, those loyal members who continue to support the Club, will be given an extension to their membership equivalent to the length of the closure. In addition, a further free month membership will be given to our loyal members. We anticipate that there will be some increase in subscriptions next year and again loyal members will be excluded from such an increase. Please stay with us if you can.

Your continuing support for the Welsh Golf Club of the Year is much appreciated.

Thank you, take care and keep safe.

Keith Thomson OBE
Chairman North Wales Golf Club
