Sue Hollands wins her first major trophy
Sue Hollands won the prestigious ladies ladder Trophy after beating Debbie Ash on the last green. All square on the last, Sue holed a tricky 4ft putt to capture her first major event at the Club.
A delighted Sue paid tribute to Debbie Ash 'we had a fantastic game, which was in the balance until the final putt, Debbie is a great sport and was genuinely pleased for my success'. Debbie was relegated to 3rd spot as Alicia Phillips leapfrogged her into 2nd place.
The league was equally as close as Judith Dingle trailed by a point going into today's matches, but won her match against Maureen Bundy to overtake Amanda Hilton on the last day, to win by a point.
