Jon Stern goes for a Burton as he loses top spot
50 Players enjoyed a benign winter's day as they played the last ladder round of the year. Simon Burton took over the lead as he dealt a blow to Jon Stern's chances with a 1up win. Simon who holds 4 black belts in different forms of Martial Arts, led from the start and managed to secure a close win hitting 6 birdies.

Ian Pagan beat Marcus Opoku for the third time in 11 outings to claim the no2 spot and a top match challenge against Simon Burton.  Mark Earley is back on track and up to No.3 with the big-hitting Mark Budd to No.4.

Greg Ford moved into 8th spot with Sterling Wakefield up into 11th spot and Tony Plant into the top 20.
