John & Liz on verge on defending Breakfast League
50pts required by chasing pairs to deny victory
John & Liz Ditchburn are well on course to defend their breakfast league title after round 9 was played on Sunday. Previous winners, Colin & Debbie Ash have not been able to play sufficient rounds to mount a serious challenge and it looks like the pairing of David Jouhin & Barbara Lusted have left it too late to catch the leaders, despite being the in-form pair.
The final is on Sunday with golf followed by carvery.
