Dean's flying high as he eagles first play-off hole
Dean Plant won a dramatic play-off to defend his Club Championship with an eagle 3 on the first play-off hole to beat Oliver Dickman.

The Pair were locked together after 36 holes on +1 (145) total, Dean Plant 70-75, Oliver Dickman 75-70. There was one shot seperating the players as they played the last, a bogey 5 appeared to have ruined Oliver Dickman's chances, until an untidy 6 by Dean Plant meant a play-off.

Both players hit perfect drives down the 489yrd Par 5, 10th hole, Dean Plant hit a superb 9-iron to within 4ft, Oliver Dickman responded with a wedge to 15ft. Oilver Dickman's putt just missed the edge of the hole and Dean calmly holed the winning putt.

Ashley Rees rued the 2 lost balls in the first round as he shot 71 -1 to finsih 3rd having been 5 under at one stage in his second round and Andy Larkin produced an excellent level par round of 72 to finish 4th.
