East Sussex pair move into Round 2
Alicia Phillips & Amanda Hilton progress into rnd 2 of the SLCGA Scratch Foursomes
A sensational 30ft putt on the 17th green was enough to send through the ESN pair in their match against Golf at Goodwood.
On a brilliant sunny day, the East Sussex pairing were 4 under par when their match was over and now play Chichester GC in the 2nd round after they defeated strongly fancied pairing from Royal Ashdown Forest.
More teams join the event in round 2 and the Club has Judith Dingle & Sue Weight playing their first match on Thursday morning.
