Success again for team Fairacres!
A three man team from Fairacres GC will not only be representing the Club but also the County in the finals of the North West Alliance to be held at West Green GC this weekend.
The trio of Darren Wood, Steve O'Neill and Matthew Knowles, along with non-Playing Captain Paul Wilson, will travel to play in this National event run by England Golf. The Club will be representing Cheshire by virtue of winning the team event in the Cheshire County Championships held earlier this year. Every county in England and Wales will have a club representative. The winners of the British Trophy will them qualify for the European Trophy to be held in Portugal later in the year.
The event is a 36 holes strokeplay (18 on Saturday and 18 on Sunday) and ALL six scores will count. We wish the team the very best of luck!
