An update on the parking area near the pro shop and the site of the old buggy garage: as the photograph shows, work is now moving forward.
Since the damaged buggy garage was demolished over Christmas, the project has taken longer than we hoped. There was a wait for the insurance settlement, then for a reasonably priced contractor to become available. Once appointed, the contractor faced a machinery problem and had to wait for a replacement part.
We hope to see good progress over the next ten days. The purpose-built practice net is also due to be delivered and installed, early November.
Thank you for bearing with us, and apologies for the inconvenience while the work continues. Once complete, the area should be an improved facility for everyone.
