A little trial beside the first tee
Chipping!
Dear Members,
You may have spotted a change to the area to the left of the first tee. We’ve cut it to fairway height to try it out as a chipping area, and the photograph shows how it looks so far.
For now, this is only a trial. We’ll see how popular it is and whether it causes any disruption to the first tee. If it works well, we may irrigate the area and make it a permanent fixture. If it doesn’t, we’ll simply call it a useful experiment!
We’ll see how we get on.
