County U14 Victory for Shropshire & Herefordshire at Hawkstone Park Hawkstone Park Golf Club was delighted to host the Shropshire & Herefordshire County U14 team’s match against Staffordshire on Saturday 19th September. The match was played on the Championship Course, which was in fabulous condition and provided an excellent test for both teams. The course was clearly enjoyed by everyone, with many of the visiting parents commenting that they would love to return to Hawkstone Park to play it themselves! There was further reason for celebration as Hawkstone Park’s own Dylan Walters had the honour of captaining the Shropshire & Herefordshire U14 team. Dylan and his teammates produced an excellent performance to secure a fantastic 3½–1½ victory over Staffordshire. A great achievement for the young Shropshire & Herefordshire players, and congratulations to Dylan on his captaincy. Very well played, SHUGC boys – and well done Dylan!
