Division 1 William Saunders took the honours with 38 Points three points clear of Tony Jones in second place. William was out in 19 points before returning in 19 points which included birdies at holes 3, 8, 12 and 15. Tony was out in 19 points and came back in 16. Tony carding birdies at holes 10 & 17. William won £13.00 for first place in the sweep and Tonypicked up £7.00. Congratulations guys. Division 2 Steven Craig took top spot and leading qualifier with 39 Points giving him a one point advantage over second placed Brian Halliday on 38 Points. Brian edging out Tommy Toner on a card count back. Steven went out in 19 points and came home in 20 with a birdie at hole 15 and 5 net birdies on the card. Brian went out in 20 points and return with 18 points. The card included birdies at 7 & 8. Steven won £21.45 for first place in the sweep and Tommy picked up £11.55 as Brian was not in the sweep. Division 3 Joesph Kennedy took top spot with 35 Points finishing two points clear of Calum Whyte in second. Calum edging out Gordon Sommerville, William Deerness and John Cassie on a card count back. Joesph went out in 18 points before returning in 17 points with 5 net birdies on the card. Calum went out in 13 points and returned in 20. The card containing 5 net birdies. Joesph was not entered into the sweep so Claum won £19.50for first place in the sweep and Gordon Sommerville picked up £10.50. Six players birdied the 15th hole, William Saunders, Greg Dymock, Brian Lee, Martin Bradley, Steven Criag and Jorgen Vatn each collecting £11.07 in the “Two’s” sweep. Steven Stanton also had a birdie two but was not entered not the sweep. Qualifiers for the final were.
