We would like to remind all members to please be considerate when cutting in or moving to another part of the course, particularly later in the day when daylight is limited. There is little more frustrating than playing the majority of a full round at a good pace, only to have the final few holes disrupted by players cutting across the course – for example, moving from the 4th to the 16th, or from the 10th to the 14th. If you do wish to cut in, please ensure there is at least one clear hole between you and the group already playing the course. For example, if you are looking to cut in on the 14th, you should not do so while another group is playing the 13th. Please wait until they have cleared the 13th before joining the course. Once you have cut in, you should then maintain your position and pace of play, rather than holding up the group behind. Please remember that those already on the course should be given priority. They may be playing a full round, taking part in a match, or simply trying to complete their round before the light fades. As the evenings become shorter, we tend to receive more complaints about this, and in most cases a little awareness and consideration would prevent the problem entirely.
