Upcoming Events SATURDAY AUGUST 1 MONTHLY MEDAL There is the August Monthly Medal taking place this Saturday (One day only). You can play at any time and it’s £6 entry. White tees, 95% allowance, placing and it’s a qualifier. SATURDAY / SUNDAY AUGUST 8 & 9 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS. This is a two day Medal event for Gross and Net prizes. This is a drawn event and costs £6 to enter the Gross event and £6 to go into the Net draw. The sheet is up in the changing rooms. Generally it will be the same times for both Saturday and Sunday. There are morning and afternoon times, however second round of the Gross is Sunday morning only in case of play-off. PREFERRED LIES: Placing remains in place for at least the whole of August, when it is likely it will be applied for again. You can take relief of up to six inches from original spot. GROUND UNDER REPAIR: When your ball lands in areas marked GUR, you can take relief to the nearest point of complete relief, no nearer the hole, OR PLAY IT AS IT LIES. Only in areas marked No Play Zones (NPZ) must you COMPULSORILY take relief.
