Last week saw two of our junior golfers, Noah Williams & Evan Fowler compete in Northern Ireland in The Champion of Champion Junior world championships. Both boys qualified for the world championships through the order of merit on the Robert Rock golf tour last season. The champion of champions sees 250 juniors from 45 countries head to Lough Erne to compete over 3 rounds. The boys played some amazing golf over the 3 rounds against some of the world’s best juniors. Heading into day 3 both boys had put themselves into position to push for top 10 finishes and they both gave it their all on the tough Faldo design course. Both boys had solid front nines and set themselves up for a strong finish. Noah managed to card a great level par back 9 with back to back birdies and push his way up the leaderboard to finish 5th place in the Under 19 division. Evan also battled hard and on the back 9 carding 3 birdies in his last 5 holes to climb the leaderboard into 5th in the U12 division. A great week of competition and battling from the boys to claim top 5 finishes in their respective categories has been rewarded with automatic qualification for the 2027 world championships.
