Ladies County Competition Results Sussex Trio Trophy Team Match – Away at Singing Hills GC Our team travelled to Singing Hills Golf Club and played in sunny and windy conditions. The challenging layout, with its many water hazards and well-placed bunkers, provided a tough test for all three matches. Player 1 (HI 0-15) received three shots but was narrowly defeated on the 17th hole. Our second player (HI 15.1-23.0) gave one shot and battled hard before losing on the 16th. The highlight of the day came from our third player (HI 23.1-33.0) who produced an excellent performance despite giving away six shots, securing an impressive 6&5 victory. Although the overall result didn't go Bognor’s way, all enjoyed the day and received a warm welcome from the ladies at Singing Hills. Bognor Ladies were Nicki Vincent, Sue Sidebotham and Andrea Cooper. SCLGA Inter club Jerdein Salver This was played on Monday 13th July 2026, away at Willingdon. Yet another warm day and a long journey, Bognor’s pairing for this event was Caroline Pilbeam and Judith Pemble. Results can be seen on the county website. A big thanks to all the ladies representing Bognor Golf club. Bognor Challenge Cup Tote As always, we are running a tote for the Bognor Challenge Cup competition which is taking place on Saturday 25th July. The tote board is on an A-frame in the Spike Bar. It is £1 per unit and you can back any player in the field with as many units as you wish to. The top 4 in the 36-hole nett competition will receive tote money. Full instructions on how this works are on the tote board. You will be able to follow the progress of any players you back by checking the leaderboard on the app throughout the day.
