Pat’s Captain’s Day was a fantastic success, with 42 members taking part in a Team of 3 Waltz competition. Congratulations to the winning team of Denise Bellamy Walton, Sue Jones and Linda Alcock, who claimed first place with an impressive 82 points. Full results available here: Pat’s Captain’s Day Results The celebrations continued into the evening, with 46 members enjoying drinks, a buffet and some music, making for a wonderful social occasion. It was a fabulous day enjoyed by everyone, and sincere thanks go to all those who helped organise and run the event. The day also raised valuable funds for the Captains’ chosen charity, Wales Air Ambulance. The putting competition raised £41, with Sian Nickson emerging as the winner, while the raffle raised an excellent £218. Congratulations to Beth Edwards, who took home the star raffle prize – a year’s supply of hair care products courtesy of Ricardo Hair Blessing. Thank you to everyone who supported the day and helped make it such a memorable occasion!
