They can look forward to facing either Ballybofey & Stranorlar or Dunfanaghy next. Also to Cathal Canning's and his Paddy Carr Donegal League panel after they got past Redcastle in round one. They will face either Cruit Island or Nairn & Portnoo in the next round. Joe Hensey's Donegal Seniors are also off to a winning start. They have come up short in the previous two finals and will be hoping to seal the deal this year. In their first leg against Dunfanaghy (Away) there were wins for DP Logue & Eunan McGlynn, Brian Devlin and Chuck McTaggart and John Logue & Paddy Merritt while Dermot Boyce and Joe Hensey earned a half point making the overall score 3.5 to 1.5 in Portsalon's favour with the second at home to come.
