On Sunday 21st June, Royal Jersey hosted La Moye for the playing of the Bailhache Cup. Playing in such testing weather conditions demanded constant hydration during play. The morning session began with the Foursomes matches which were closely contended resulting in 2 matches apiece, with 3 matches finishing on the 18th green. Following lunch, the afternoon 'Single Matches' began, which saw some outstanding play from our ladies. Overall result was a WIN for team Royal Jersey - 7 matches to 5. Royal Jersey haven't won the cup since 2018. Previous matches have either been halved overall meaning La Moye retains. So we are delighted to have the Bailhache Cup sitting proudly in our trophy cabinet. A special mention to our Eleanor Bourke (Junior member) playing in her 1st match for the ladies team.
