As the sun rose on Mr Captains day, Russ and Jackie were already gathering their band of helpers, preparing for what was a fantastic day. The weather matched the Spanish theme, with flags flying and Tapas prepared. A cheeky shot of “43” and a goody bag started the golfers day. Over 150 players hoping to win the amazing hole in one prizes. Thank you to Geoff and Neil for overseeing holes 3 and 14, often ball spotting and always encouraging. Jackie, supported by Sarah, Marina and co were a wonderful sight at the half way point, offering delicious Spanish food and cooling drinks. As the back 9 specialists came into their own, Mr Captain buzzed around providing cold beers and refreshments. It takes a massive effort by many people for a day this perfect to come together.
