Midweek Stableford Results
61 members played in the Midweek Stableford competition yesterday.
Congratulations to Glenn Peskett for winning Division 1 with 39 points. Barry O’Brien finished in second place with 38 points, with Stephen King third on 37 points.
In Division 2, William Prior took top spot with 38 points. Ian Cottington-Bray finished second with 35 points, and Graham Hope was third on 34 points.

Cyril Blake Seniors County Knockout
The seniors team played in the 2nd round of the county knockout at home against a strong Royal Eastbourne team and came out victors 3-2 in a closely fought battle; they now proceed to the next round, which is away against the Dyke.
Thanks to all the players who represented the club, some of whom stepped in at late notice to play in the match.

Evening League v Hill Barn (Home) – Wednesday 20th May 2026
A quick report from last night.
In week five of this year’s Evening League, we played at home against Hill Barn.
The strong south-westerly breeze made it a challenge for all, but
the course played very well after the recent rain.
The match was halved 2.5-2.5 which is a fair result with Bognor giving a
minimum of three shots in all five matches.
The Hill Barn team was very complimentary regarding the course and then the
food and service provided after golf. Credit to all involved.
At the midway stage of this year’s league, Bognor sits 5th of 6th. However, considering that we have played three of our games away from home, the situation is not as bad as it appears.
Next week we are at home again against Worthing.
We are always looking for new faces to join the evening league team. If a
game of foursomes on a Wednesday evening during the summer sounds like a bit
of you, reply to this email, and contact details will be passed on.
