Men's Spring Tankard Results

136 men played in the Saturday of the Spring Tankard competition, with 129 playing on the Sunday. This is a great turnout for this major competition.

Congratulations to Billy Rayner for winning the Spring Tankard with nett scores of 64 + 71, a 5-under handicap total of 135. Tim Cashman came second with nett scores of 67 + 71, a 2-under handicap total of 138. Oli Turnill came in third with nett scores of 73 + 66, a 1-under handicap total of 139. Paul Reed-Harman came fourth on countback from Oli, also with 139.

A special mention to Oli Turnill for his nett 66 on Sunday, which was a gross 65 off his playing handicap of +1. A fantastic round of golf in very tricky conditions! Combined with his gross 72 on Saturday, this gave Oli a total of 3-under par 137 which was good enough to win the scratch prize by 7 shots. Harry Malin came second with scores of 74 + 70, a total of 144. Andy Brown came third with a total of 145 with Harry Isham in fourth with 146.
