Men's 4BBB Results, Unleash Your Drive Competition, Bank Holiday Mixed
Men's Fourball Better Ball Results
80 men played in the Fourball Better Ball competition on Sunday. Congratulations to Pat Lawrence and Paul Reed-Harman for winning the competition with 47 points. John Green and Aaron Bridges came second with 46 points. Dave Maskell and Mark Bingham came third with 45 points beating James Bott and Chris Couzens on countback. Unleash Your Drive - Golf Foundation Competition - 16th and 17th May
The Golf Foundation is a charity that introduces children to golf, from all backgrounds, creating golfers. They do this because they know that golf can change lives.
Each year, the Golf Foundation runs a competition called Unleash Your Drive, and following the success of last year we are again taking part. The event works as follows:
Each club holds a qualifying competition played in 3 handicap categories, the winners of each category have a chance to progress to the national final (if their scores are good enough). There are 45 places in the national final, made up of 15 from each handicap category, so only the best 15 scores in each handicap category nationally will make the final. We had two players who qualified last year out of the three categories.
In the national final, the 3 winners of each of the handicap categories will be invited to play in the BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am at Wentworth in September.
The competition is a Stableford, open to both men and ladies, and you can select which set of tees you would like to play from when you sign in on the day. You can pick any tees that have been rated for your gender.
The main day for the competition is Sunday 17th May and the tee is reserved between 7 am and 1 pm. Play will be in 3's for this event.
There is an alternate day for the competition on Saturday 16th May.
The entry fee for the event is £10 per person, with £5 of this going to the Golf Foundation.

You can email your tee booking request to teetimes@bognorgolfclub.co.uk. Email requests must be received by midday on Thursday 7th May at the latest. Unbooked slots will open for entry at 6.15 pm on Thursday 7th May.
Bank Holiday Mixed Golf
The entry will open tomorrow for the next Bank Holiday Mixed competition which will be on Monday 25th May. This is a Greensomes competition, full information is on the poster attached with today's latest news email. Please add your name if you would like to play.
