Lads,

The first major of the year under way and with great weather leading up to the comp. Heavy rainfall the night before and cooler temperatures gave the possibility of a tough test. However scoring was really good with 14 players beating their handicap.

Onto the winner, a man who is very much in form, having already won a comp this year. Taking the honours in our first major of the year with 6 under 66, winning on a card playoff, Mr Stuart Harvey. Well in big lad. Two under gross back 9 is winning any card play off mate. Nice work. Stu also had twos 2s and took the lowest gross prize. Cleaning up is the words I would use!!

2nd was ever present Lee 'Blondie' Bailey, hard luck mate a score that wins any other comp normally. 3rd went to Sammy Williams with nett 68 on a cpo. Beating Dave Taylor. 5th was taken by our very own Mr captain. Well played all and no DQ this week for missing card signatures.
