End of use of Preferred Lies
Adverse Course Conditions cease for the Season.
As from the 1st May the usse of Adverse Course Conditions rules and Preferred Lies officially ceases for the rest of the Golfing "Season"
Whilst they can be reintroduced at any time, this will require sanction from the Cheshire Golf Union and only if course deterioration warrants such a change.
So in all competitions, including rollups and for General Play rounds, the ball must be played as it lies and no preferring of lies is now allowed.
Free relief will be allowed when in an area marked as Ground Under Repair (GUR), but elsewhere the ball nust be played as it lies.
