Bank Holiday Mixed, Kindred Cup Report, Men's Invitation
Bank Holiday Mixed Event - Monday 4th May
Our next Bank Holiday Mixed competition is taking place on the May Day Bank Holiday on Monday 4th May. This event is a Texas Scramble competition. Full information is on the poster which is attached with today's latest news email.

Kindred Cup Results
The Kindred Team had again drawn Farnham at home, and were hoping to avenge last year's narrow 3 - 2 loss.
A new management structure brought some new faces to the fold, and hopes were high as first pair, 'newbies' Billy Rayner and Kevin Moore won convincingly out in the country.
Jason and Grant came up against an in-form pair, but hung on until the 17th.
Ever reliable pairing of John Cable and Phil Hawkes returned a point as usual, leaving Simon and Rob at 4 to bring home the bacon. However, donating the first 3 holes did not provide the best platform, and they slipped to defeat on the 17th.
Deciding pair Peter Stoneham and Tom Kent had victory in sight before losing 4 holes in a row to seal Bognor's fate in a repeat of last year's score, 2 - 3.
Jason Rae now takes up the reins of the Kindred Clubs Competition following Simon's 15+ years at the helm. Jason has pledged to finally lift the Trophy, Bognor having reached the finals day on 5 occasions, running up twice (curses!) a third and two 4ths - watch this space.
Thanks go to all those who have played for the Kindred team over the years, especially those who have stood in at short (often very short) notice - we've had a great ride, and rumour has it that some players still have their prize glasses intact?

A reminder that the Men's Invitation is taking place on Saturday 23rd May. This is your chance to invite a friend along for the day to enjoy our course and hospitality. You can enter via the app, or you can contact the office and we can add you in.
The format for the day is:
Breakfast from 8.15 am
Shotgun Start at 9.30 am
2 Course Meal at 3.30 pm
