We are delighted to welcome Stephen Croman to the Professional Team at Caldy Golf Club, where he joins us as an Assistant Professional.

Stephen is currently a third-year PGA trainee and brings with him a strong and well-rounded background in both coaching and custom fitting. He has previously worked as an Assistant Professional at Leasowe Golf Club and more recently at Scottsdale Golf, where he developed significant expertise as a club fitter, completing over 1,200 fittings.

A committed player as well as a coach, Stephen has competed in more than 100 professional events over the past four years, including Open Qualifying. Notably, he has reached Final Qualifying on two occasions, once at Caldy (2024) and once at Hesketh (2023), which is a testament to his playing ability and competitive experience.

Stephen lives locally in Wallasey with his partner, their young son, and their dog.

Friendly and approachable, Stephen is very much looking forward to meeting members and supporting all aspects of their golfing experience, whether through coaching, club fitting, or general advice.
