In order to protect the course following the recent wet weather, and with more rain forecast to come, the committee has decided that the rule of playing from mats when on fairways will continue for the time being.
This means scoring rounds for handicaps will not be possible.

Normal tees should still be used from tomorrow, Wednesday 1st April, instead of winter tees.
Bunkers will also be in play as mentioned previously, except for the 5 bunkers with turf laid.

Further, there will be no competitions held until Friday 17th April at the earliest. All competitions scheduled until that date are hereby postponed, including this weekend's Watt Medal.
Casual booking for this Saturday will open at 12.00 noon tomorrow, Wednesday 1st April.

During this time the course is likely to be wet and slippery, so due care should be taken when on the course. You are urged to stay on paths and stay outwith roped areas where possible, and be particularly careful on slopes.
