The April Monthly Medal will take place this weekend on either Saturday or Sunday.
Play anytime. It’s £5 to enter including twos, it’s a qualifier off white tees, with 95% allowance and placing is allowed.
Please not this is the last two-day Medal and the last at £5 entry.
Saturday March 29
Is the Ladies Annual General Meeting followed by the Drive In of our new Lady Captain Amanda Higgs.
Sunday March 29.
The Annual General Meeting takes place in the clubhouse at 10am. All members are welcome. Afterwards the Captain’s Drive takes place on the first tee and there will be a 9-hole Drive In competition afterwards with the Captain Andy Corssen providing the prizes. The tee is booked out from 11.40am so be there early if you want to play and register your interest with the Captain or Secretary.
Friday Bash starts Good Friday
The Friday Bash will start this Friday April 3. The 14- hole event will run right through until mid-September, when there will be a final.
Easter Saturday
The Easter Challenge is a DRAWN competition where the entries will CLOSE at noon on Wednesday. April 1. There is a sheet in the changing rooms
It is £6 to enter including twos and it is a qualifier off white tees, with 95% allowance and placing allowed.
Easter Sunday.
There is a mixed competition starting at 11am. 24 men are required and there is a sheet up in the changing rooms.
Easter Monday.
The Bank Holiday Stableford, including the Clay Cup is a DRAWN competition and takes place on Easter Monday April 6. Entries CLOSE on Easter Saturday April 4 at 4pm
The BH Stableford is open to all, while the Clay Cup is for over 55’s only. You can enter one or both if eligible. Decide on the day. One competition is £6 including twos or two at £11 including twos.
It’s off white tees, a qualifier, 95% allowance and there is placing.
Knockout competitions
This year’s Silver Challenge is a stand-alone singles competition where you enter in the Pro Shop. It’s £6 to enter and entries will close on Saturday April 18.
The Royal Arthur is a summer pair knockout, and entries will close the following week on April 25. It’s £12 per pair.
Both draws will be done on Facebook live.
