Dear Members,

As we move into the new season, we are pleased to confirm that winter mats will no longer be required on the course from Saturday 28th March.

In place of mats, preferred lies will be in operation. This means that when your ball lies on a closely mown area within the general area, you may mark, lift, clean, and place it within a scorecard’s length, no nearer the hole. We kindly ask all members to apply this rule fairly and consistently.

As course conditions continue to improve, we would also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of a few key points of on-course etiquette:
• Please repair pitch marks on greens and replace divots on fairways
• Rake bunkers carefully after use and leave them in good condition
• Keep up with the group in front to help maintain a good pace of play
• Be mindful of others on the course and allow faster groups through when appropriate

These small actions make a significant difference in maintaining the quality of the course for all members.
