Divots and Pitch Marks
Protect the Condition of Your Course
Dear Members,

We need to address a growing concern regarding the condition of the golf course, specifically the number of unrepaired pitch marks on greens and unreplaced divots across playing areas.

More concerning still, there have been instances of divots being taken very close to greens and practicing on the course, which suggests deliberate or careless damage. This is unacceptable.

The quality of our course is one of the major drivers this year and the green staff and managemnet need every members support. It relies on consistent care and attention from every member. Failing to repair pitch marks or replace divots has a direct and immediate impact on playing conditions for others.

All members are expected to:

Repair pitch marks on every green (not just their own)
Replace or properly fill divots on fairways and surrounding areas
Exercise proper care at all times, particularly in sensitive areas around greens

This is a basic standard of membership, not an optional courtesy.

Please be aware that continued negligence or any form of deliberate damage will result in disciplinary action. This may include suspension or, in serious cases, termination of membership.

We are proud of the course we present. Maintaining that standard requires collective responsibility and consistent behaviour from all members.

If you witness behaviour that falls short of these expectations, report it to the club office.

Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.
