Dear Members,

We are currently looking for members who may be willing to support the development of our junior section at the club.

Our junior membership has now grown to 31 young golfers, ranging from low-handicap players to complete beginners. We are also beginning to build stronger links with local schools, which will help introduce even more young people to the game.

To continue developing this next generation of golfers, we are looking for volunteers who would be happy to help in a few key areas, including:

Supporting the coaching team during junior sessions
Helping to run junior competitions
Assisting with the organisation of junior team matches against other clubs

You don’t need to be an expert—just someone who is willing to give a little time to help support and encourage our young players.

If you would be interested in helping, please email phil.beard@vicarscrossgolf.co.uk. We will then arrange an nitial group meeting with the Pros to discuss how we can share the workload and support the junior section together.

Developing junior golf is a key part of the club’s long-term vision and sustainability, helping ensure the future of the game at Vicars Cross.
