Egyptian Geese on Course

I’m saddened to report that one of the pair of Egyptian Geese, which have been regular visitors to both St Audrys and Ufford Park courses was killed on St Audrys Park Road this morning.
As some of you will know these birds mate for life and it has been upsetting for many to see the surviving bird confused and still searching for its partner along the first fairway this afternoon. Our research confirms that this behaviour may last for some days and if the surviving bird is seen on the course I’d ask members to give it a wide berth and treat it with sensitivity.
