Thank you to all who attended last night’s Extraordinary General Meeting.

As previously advised, two nominations had been received for the two available positions:
• Director of Membership – Sian Nickson
• Director of Risk & Compliance – Stephen Lock

I am pleased to confirm that the meeting was duly convened and quorate, and that the formal resolution to appoint the two additional Directors to the Board was unanimously approved.

Sian and Stephen will take office with immediate effect under our newly incorporated structure. On behalf of the Club, I would like to thank them both for their willingness to serve. Their appointment completes an important step in implementing our governance arrangements following incorporation and ensures that the Board is now fully constituted.

While much of the day-to-day activity of the Club will continue as it always has – driven by volunteers, members, and a shared passion for what we do – the framework that now supports it is stronger, clearer, and fit for the future.

We are looking forward to another successful year ahead and very much hope that it will soon stop raining!
