Andy's Update
Penultimate captains corner for me .

Well, that has been an awful golfing month with the weather, but the club has at least attempted to get the club open with the 12-hole offer which does suit many of the members.

No real highlights to mention in this shortened message on the golf course but, off it, the wheels of industry continue to move so if you are at a loose end and fancy company go to the club for coffee and lunch and a catch up, I am sure the F and B staff will all be looking forward to seeing you. Or use the swing studio or take a walk around some of the amazing new gear in the pro shop and use your discount.

We have a sold out event on Friday with the Quiz night and our new quiz master Helen Masters and her able assistant Paul , it will be fun, I will be doing the penultimate key to the door with the odds starting to favour the players not the box , with several back up prizes it will be well worth the £5 ticket , please support my charity.

My farewell event is a sell-out , amazing, I would like to say it is because of me but I think it has more to do with a free beer and succulent hot buffet that the F and B team will be serving up .

This will be last opportunity to open the door to the box and will complete my fund raising for the year, it will be a free for all so you will be able to buy as many £5 tickets as you can afford , all to charity of course.

The event will have 12 prize winners on the day so lots to play for, subject to weather conditions there will be a buggy going around the course offering you a shot of something warming and other alcohol on sale.

Finally I am extremely pleased to report that the final charity pot raised from all your support will top £45 k , amazing support from all but in particular my family, Darren Leech, john Mc , all the Jurassic team, the amazing F and B team and , of course, Rob and his team who have made my year so easy and a pleasure to captain the amazing club that is THE MILLBROOK.

I hope to see many of you over these 2 events and thank you one more time for the support throughout the year.
