Near Miss incident from 2nd tee
Dear Members
A reminder to all players to please read the safety notices on the tees before tee-ing off. We had a near miss incident yesterday from a stray tee shot landing on the 17th fairway with no apparent shout of FORE from the 2nd tee.
Please consider the safety of fellow players when stray shots are hit and always shout FORE as a warning and read the signs.
Can I also remind players that the use of mats are compulsory this winter season. Disappointingly, we are getting reports of players still being disrespectful to the course, the greenkeeping staff and fellow members by not using mats on the fairways. I urge players to continue to challenge and report all incidents of players not following the compulsory ruling.
