What's been happening
Dear member
Thank you to all the members that attended the AGM last night. We will publish the minutes in the coming days which will include questions raised on the night and in advance.
This weekend coming is possibly our busiest outside of the summer season. Saturday we have the Teague swindle Christmas Jumper Day and on Sunday it's the much anticipated Turkey Shoot, followed by the bumper Christmas Raffle.
Tickets for the raffle will be on sale until around 2pm Sunday, the draw should take place around 2:30pm.
1st Prize is a Motocaddy M1 electric trolley, 2nd prize is a dozen Pro v1's per month for 12 months, 3rd prize is a pint of beer or glass of wine every week during 2026, 4th Prize is an Under Armour outfit (shirt/shorts/belt/socks and shoes) and 5th Prize is a paid or Foot-joy Shoes. There will be at least 20 more prizes to choose from once the first five have been drawn.
Can I ask members to utilise the booking system please, it has been noticed that several members are simply tuning up and walking on during the day, especially mid-week. Whilst there are sometimes big gaps on the tee sheet, please book yourself in so we know who is on the course please.
ON THE COURSE
We have moved onto Winter Tee Mats, meaning play is strictly from the Mats only.
The grass tees are to be treated as mandatory GUR, relief MUST be taken (even in competition). Should your ball come to rest on any grass tee, please drop your ball at the nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole, without penalty. Ladies continue to play from the red grass tees but should adhere to the same rule as above if thier ball is on any 'wrong tee'
The team on the course have already started to aerate the tee boxes, along with the greens this week.
