Brass band Lunch
The great tradition continues to thrive.
Doncaster Golf Club was filled with festive cheer on Sunday 7th December as members and guests gathered for the annual Brass Band Christmas Lunch. The highlight of the afternoon was a wonderful performance by the Armthorpe & Elmfield Brass Band, conducted by the ever-popular Ray Kilcoyne.
The band delighted everyone with a varied programme that included timeless brass band classics, popular contemporary pieces, and much-loved Christmas carols, perfectly setting the tone for the season. The musical entertainment was accompanied by a delicious Christmas lunch, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance.
Among those enjoying the occasion were the Lady Captain and Club Captain, who joined members in praising both the excellent meal and the superb musical performance. It was a warm, festive, and thoroughly enjoyable event that once again proved to be a cherished highlight of the club’s Christmas calendar.
