As members will be aware the work to level and resurface 4 tees is well underway. This has resulted in the yellow and white courses being shortened and so all men’s competitions are now non-qualifying and we are on lift, clean and place on closely mown areas.
As from Wednesday 5th November and until further notice we will be moving to Winter Rules.
This year's rules are slightly amended from previous years, as we wish to encourage members to use their own personal playing mats to protect the course. We will allow members to use personal playing mats only on the fairways or closely mown areas: personal mats will not be allowed to be used on non closely mown areas, i.e. the rough.
A ball that’s not on the fairway or closely mown area can however be cleaned, lifted and dropped, within one club length of where the ball previous lay and no nearer the hole
