Over the past year, the talented 14-year-old claimed a string of impressive titles, including the RJ Junior Championship, the Junior Island Championship, and the Channel Island Championship.
Jacob also played a key role in Jersey’s Junior Inter-Insular match, winning both his points to help secure a strong team performance. His success extended beyond local competition when he qualified for the English Under-14 Amateur Stroke Play Championship for the Reid Trophy becoming the first Jersey player in more than a decade to achieve this.
Representing Hampshire Under-14s, Jacob won all of his matches, demonstrating his ability to perform at a high level on the mainland stage.
Capping off his remarkable year, Jacob was selected for the Men’s Inter-Insular team, becoming the youngest player ever to do so at just 14 years old. Despite competing against seasoned adults, he impressed by earning two and a half points out of three in a closely contested 10-all draw.
Jacob’s achievements this season reflect not only his talent but also his dedication and determination. A big well done from everyone at Royal Jersey Golf Club!
